Our services include but are not limited to:

Estimates and Agreements

All work is performed under a written agreement between Deck Contractor Bellevue WA and the client. Estimates provided on-site or via our website are non-binding until a formal written contract is executed by both parties. The written contract will specify the scope of work, materials, timeline, payment terms, and warranty information.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are outlined in the individual project agreement. Typically, a deposit is required before work begins, with progress payments due at specified milestones and the final balance due upon project completion and client satisfaction. We accept checks, credit cards, and electronic bank transfers. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as specified in the project agreement.

Permits and Inspections

We assist with obtaining necessary building permits from the City of Bellevue and King County. Permit fees are typically included in the project estimate unless otherwise stated. The client is responsible for providing accurate property information, including lot surveys and HOA guidelines, as needed for the permit application. We coordinate all required inspections with city officials.

Warranty

Deck Contractor Bellevue WA provides a workmanship warranty as specified in each project agreement. This warranty covers defects in labor and installation. Material warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers (e.g., Trex, TimberTech, Azek) and are separate from our workmanship warranty. Normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper maintenance, acts of nature, or unauthorized modifications are not covered under our warranty.

Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate property information, including boundary lines, utility locations, and HOA requirements.
  • Ensure reasonable access to the work area for our crew and equipment.
  • Remove personal belongings, furniture, and obstacles from the work zone before construction begins.
  • Communicate promptly regarding design decisions, change orders, and scheduling matters.
  • Maintain the completed deck according to the care instructions provided.

Change Orders

Any changes to the original scope of work after the contract is signed must be documented in writing through a change order. Change orders may affect the project timeline and cost. Work on change orders will not begin until the change order is approved and signed by both parties.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel a project after the contract is signed, you must notify us in writing. Cancellation fees may apply based on the stage of the project, materials already ordered, and work already completed. Specific cancellation terms are outlined in the individual project agreement.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of Deck Contractor Bellevue WA and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use our content without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deck Contractor Bellevue WA's total liability for any claims arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Governing Law
